Beckham was diagnosed with HLH (Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis in 2012. He underwent eight weeks chemotherapy and steroid treatment; this put him into remission. Unfortunately, approximately three months later, his disease returned. This time he needed a bone marrow transplant to cure this horrible disease. Beckham is our oldest grandson; in addition to his HLH he also deals with Type I Diabetes. I've never seen a braver boy and braver and more loving parents!
