Nina Slota, Ph.D. was diagnosed with Crohn's at age 9. She earned her Ph.D. from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York in research developmental psychology, with a concentration in health psychology. She taught disability studies at Hunter College for several years, and is now an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD.
This book is meant as an activity book for an adult to do with a child. It is aimed at the 6-9 year old crowd. However, older kids may still find it helpful for starting conversations.
