Can you find your favorite summertime food at a local farm? What is a food forest? What do farmers do to take care of their land? How do chefs create recipes?
To answers these questions, Bloom Community School's summer campers discovered what foods are grown on local farms by following busy farmers during the growing season. They learned about “sustainable agriculture,” and visited area organic farms and our local refuge food forest. This cookbook shares the delicious adventure we took as we followed our food from a farm to your fork!
