In the snowy mountains of Alaska, a curious little bear named Oliver sets out on his very first solo adventure. Along the way, Oliver slips, tumbles, problem-solves, makes a new friend, and discovers something important—his own strengths.
From laughing at mistakes to finding clever solutions and helping others, Oliver learns that even small moments can reveal big bravery. And under the shimmering northern lights, he realizes his greatest strength of all: believing in himself.
This heartwarming story gently teaches children about self-awareness, resilience, confidence, and kindness.
Perfect for classrooms, counseling sessions, or at-home reading, this book also includes a built-in SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) guide for teachers, featuring reflection questions, discussion prompts, and activities that help students recognize and celebrate their own strengths—just like Oliver.
