Vicki is Carrie's eldest granddaughter. They have always been very close.Vicki has been married for 41 years and has two grown daughters and four grandchildren. Vicki is an education specialist and elementary school teacher. She has always loved writing.
In the 1980s, Vicki spent many weekends with Carrie. They spent time shopping, eating out at The Corral Buffet, and staying up until the wee hours of the morning talking about Carrie's childhood. Vicki was always fascinated and in awe of all the stories. It was like hearing a "Little House" episode. Now 30 years later, Vicki is once again involved in the stories, only this time she's writing them down in order to keep the memories alive forever.
