Three months ago, Andy and her parents got caught in a car accident. She was the only survivor. Everyday she feels soulless and empty and everything seems to move in slow motion. Her pain goes to a breaking point, where every night she hurls her guts out to stop the nausea.
She’s been forced to go live with her grandmother, Mason, two hours away from home. She’s registered to school immediately, and goes to school the very next day. Andy is quiet and colorless. Smile less even. When Mason leaves for work after picking her up from school, silence can be agonizing.
That’s where Damien comes in; he’s big, strong, handsome, independent, joyful, and much older. Seven years older to be exact. There’s a problem though. She’s got these intense feelings for him, the first time she sees him (she minds it as a crush), and it only gets deeper… Damien has secrets of his own…. But how can you resist your soul mate?
