Caldwell has worked as a Park Ranger for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Caesar Creek Lake, an Environmental Educator for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the Student Conservation Association in California, and as a Primate Island Expedition Tour Guide at Naples Zoo in Florida. This is her first children's book.
