Coming In From Another World

At the start of my new life on earth, a stark reality sets in. Life on Terra feels strange. Adult conversations and behaviors seem unclear. The setting is the ancient Maya lands of eternal spring. My parent’s religion, culture, and history are at variance. They are a young married couple in love. They are strong, responsible, athletic, socially active, and of high moral standards. I was born on the day World War II ended and came close to receiving the name Victoria. I find myself slowly being overtaken by a life on earth. A new era is sprouting. Nature is nurturing and enriching. I wonder what this is all about.
