About the Book

When I was planning to write about my school – a non-fiction book, I was thinking new ways to engage the readers. Being a Fiction Story lover, it was as much as challenging goal for me too. Then I had an interesting idea to tell the non-fiction details in a fictional way. It helped me to engage the readers, at the same time letting them to learn about my school. Thus this book was born. Its blend of ‘Harry Potter’ like magical adventures with interesting facts about my school. I hope you will enjoy my book.

Karthik Sing was born in Florida. He is very passionate about reading and math; and started reading since the age 2. Like most kids, he loves fiction books like Harry Potter series and LEGO. He draws constantly, filling reams of paper with characters of his own making. When he was doing 1st grade, he wrote his first book ‘Spy Kids 3’. ‘Deer Park Elementary’ is his second book.

Karthik is now doing his 2nd grade in Deer Park Elementary School, Tampa, FL where he continues to explore the world; and continues to fill reams of paper with the characters and images that populate his imagination
