When Tamara Kent's boyfriend, Max Scott, dies in a horrible accident in front of her eyes, she feels she can't go on. The only thing keeping her sane is the company of her best friend, Zavier Walsh.
But one night, Max appears to her in her dreams, telling her that she can be with him for eternity, however, this means that her human body will die and her life on earth will end.
Zavier tries desperately to convince her that Max is just using her, because Max knows that something special lies within her, and he has a sinister motive behind his actions.
With all the lies and accusations flying around her, Tamara isn't sure who to trust anymore. She does know that the fate of humanity depends on her decision between Max and Zavier.
If she makes the wrong choice, all hell will break loose. Should she follow her mind, or her heart?
