Being a parent of two wonderful kids, I believe that parental motivations can significantly influence a parent's actions, decisions, and interactions with their children. Many parents are primarily motivated by their deep love and affection for their children. This emotional bond serves as a powerful motivation for providing care, support, and nurturing.

This thesis book will talk about the effects of parental motivations in home-based and school-based involvement. This study was conducted to determine the correlation between the level of parental motivations in home-based and school-based involvement practices and its relationship to the academic performance of pupils.
