About Author
I am a retired educator, having taught middle school math, served as vice principal of two large high schools, Director of Secondary Education in a large school districti in San Antonio and Superintendent of two smaller Texas school districts. I earned a BA from University of Texas Austin, MEd from Our Lady of the Lake University, and EdD from Nova University. I've been married to Sandy for 57 years. We have are parents fo three children, a daughter and two sons. Our youngest son passed away in 2017 after a five year battle with brain cancer. We now live in Vernon, Texas
