In a planet faraway deep into the future, humans have created this game that interacts with aliens across the galaxy. Life on Zircon is just like earth. Population is not tense like on earth: it's only about half a million. But when a "disease" takes over Zircon, it goes under chaos. When the game is infected with the"disease", everybody playing it gets... stuck.
