This book was inspired by bedtime stories my husband told my son involving a character they dreamed up called "Mr. Oily". I wrote this as a Christmas present for my son when he was 8 years old, incorporating his sister, his cat, and the town we live in - Phoenixville, PA. Illustrations were done by me, my daughter, and my son.
