This is a bilingual story, written in Spanish and English, about why giraffes have long necks. It touches on the theme of evolution and how giraffes evolved long necks in order to get leaves from tall trees.

We are two students from Fortuna High School. Our names are Sofia and Cristian. We wrote and illustrated this book in our Spanish class. We also went to read our book to schools around our county. We chose to do it on the giraffe because we found them to be very interesting.
