I will never forget coming home from college in Fairbanks Alaska and seeing beautiful red jars or jam of various shapes and sizes sitting on Grandma's counter (Althea Hughes, my mom-in-law). The first thing I would do is look around for the jar that was open or the small bowl that had some fresh rhubarb jam sitting in it. The next thing I would do would be to find a saltine cracker and glob some on it! Yummy in the tummy! Need I say more? Of course when we headed back to college, my sweet hubby and baby or two, we also had in tote at least 2 if not 3 jars of jam in the diaper bag. Now, I am gramma and I too have learned the secret of making many smile in my kitchen and here is the recipe...

I love all my little monkeys and it is always a zoo around here! My hubby is a Cariboooo he says I am a Sea Otter, that is just an Alaskan Monkey if you ask me! We make such a fine pair.
