The author of this book is a mother who has struggled with weight issues with her family. After continuously researching ways to help her family loss weight. She could only find programs geared for adults and teens. She decided to created a journal that would make tracking food and healthy goals easy and fun for kids, and would include ideas to get the whole family involved in healthier living.
