Rising Young Author Simone Schwartz became interested in writing because it allows her to express her feelings and imagination.
A favorite pastime is reading a book about a place she has never been, then traveling there and photographing herself holding the book in that place.
Other pastimes include art classes, martial arts, running, drama and singing in the choir.
