Just as a purse (bolsa) contains a potpourri of items, this book also has a variety of illustrative, colorful paintings with poems written in both English and Spanish.Some of the poems are lighthearted, others are sentimental. Enjoyable for all.

I have been painting for over 20 years and have exhibited both locally and nationally. My art is colorful, whimsical and illustrative. Playing the violin had a large influence on my art. My art has been featured on the covers of music magazines and journals and recently I had a mural installed with the San Antonio Public Library System.
