This story is written in CHamoru, a native language for Guam. Each fruits and vegetables shown were grown by local farmers. The story begins with the first month and continues to describe the fruit or vegetable based on each month or 13 moons. The authors of the story, describes a local fruit or vegetable by describing the color, taste, texture or size. The authors, Anne Leonen Perez and Krystal Castro expands the story by using an open ended question " Hafa hinnasso-mu? Which means, "What do you think?" Enjoy!
