About the Book

As I began to reflect on my history, it lead me to my wife's history as well. In those reflections, I discovered how God had intertwined our lives into one single story which began even before we met. It is a story of adapting and changing from different backgrounds and cultures to form one journey together. Our story is a story about family and comes out of all the relationships and encounters which have shaped us in who we are. While the writing has only given a small taste of our journey and things which have influenced us, we hope it may be an inspiration for you to reflect on your own history and your "many tiny moments".

As our family has grown, I realize that we ourselves are only "tiny moments" for all of those younger relatives and friends which move their lives ahead of us. I also realize that every "tiny moment", or person, is really a very BIG MOMENT. To all those not mentioned in this book I apologize. Everything important rarely gets included in one book.
