This is an adaptation of my mother's childhood memories, some of which she had written down. After she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, I started making children's books out of them, illustrating them with the assistance of my granddaughter, and giving my mother the books for Christmas. I also give copies to her great-grandchildren upon their births.
