About the Book

Hailey is a 16 year old girl who lives in Dallas, Texas. She lives on a horse farm, she has three horses of her own, Max, Toby and Daisy. She show jumps with all of her horses. Her passion is riding. She has a big family, but unfortunately her dad died because of lung cancer. She has 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Who are all older than her except River, the new baby. Her dad had just died 5 months ago.

Hailey is sent to her new boarding school and is challenged from a rider next door, BRITTNEY. She is the most popular girl there, Hailey made a BAD DECISION. Will she accept the challenge or will she ditch her?

My name is Lilly Turmel. I love riding on horses at a ranch near Blenheim called Rising Dawn Stables. I also like gymnastics and hope to be in the Olympics some day. I have brown hair, blue eyes and white skin. My birthday is on Febuary 7th 2003. I am 11 years old. I have a brother named River who is a year old. My Mom and Dad are separated and i have a step dad and mom. I love to bake with my grandma and my mom to. I live in Wallaceburg/Chatham in Ontario and i have a step sister named Kayla, she is 22 years old and i have 2 step nephews named Gabriel and Malicai. I go to school and i'm in 5th grade, i speak french, and my school is named St - Philippe in Grande Point, Ontario. I love writing and reading. I was inspired by Jessica Burhart and the author of Heartland. I would also thank all of my teachers who taught me how to write and to read.
