About the Book

This is a compilation of Poetry that documents my journey through life and details specific events and

people that has had a positive and negative impact on my life so far. I have lost my father to suicide in

2000 and suffered the loss of my mother in 2013. I have battled mental illness along with a reputation

that has been torn apart throughout the years. Battling tragedy, loss, betrayal, drug abuse and instability

has made me into the person I'am today a survivor of life with a positive outlook and hopes for the

future. Some of my writing can be seen as controversial with adult content along with light hearted

poetry.

Acknowledgment

I have profound appreciation to my dog Ruby that saved me from a very callous dark point in my life

and taught me that love was still possible. I dedicate my writing to my parents that are both sadly

missed.

I like writing poetry poems that rhyme

Its an enjoyable way I spend my time

I like doing DIY, art and craft

Drinks with friends and having a laugh

I love camping festivals holidays abroad

Music gigs of those I adore

I enjoy walking my dog everyday

Don’t listen to what people say

Hate being told how to behave and what to do

Can empathise with what others go through

Rebel against keeping fit and hate sport

A true life learner all self taught

I am spiritual not religious anymore Religion causes such an up roar

Have belief in the afterlife and aliens too I like learning things of interest to do

Im considerably happy more often than not

Always remember what I've previously forgot

Take pride in my work strive to be the best I can be

What you see is what you get just me being me.
