I've been writing recreational poetry off and on for about 46 years. I write on a very spiritually connected level. Sometimes I play ancient biblical music while I compose, other times I am awakened during the wee hours of the morning with a poem running through my head. I love writing it's very therapeutic which is healing for the mind. I am a nurse and a professional singer, besides a poet. I am a native Californian. I'm happily married to a wonderful man. I have 3 amazing sons, 2 wonderful daughter-in-laws, and 3 beautiful grandchildren.
