The In-Between. The Space Where Words Paint Color into Emotions.

When I was a little girl, I was constantly writing in journals, creating short stories, and writing plays for my siblings and cousins to perform on family vacations. In elementary school I won a short story contest and was presented at the scholastic book fair. In middle school I won a school wide poetry contest. In the past few years, I started writing poetry again, and posted them on an Instagram page under a pseudonym. I let unknown people around the world read my feelings through the words I wrote. I always felt putting them into a book was more vulnerable and never took the initiative to do so. In 2022, someone in my life made me see that my words were important and should be shared. They wondered why I never put them into a book to share with others. After a rocky end to 2022, I decided now was the time to be more vulnerable and finally create something meaningful with the words I write. Thank you for picking them up and giving them a chance.
