A little girl named Niyah loves her art class and her friends. One day a new student comes to class and she is not very nice. Niyah has to make a serious decision.

I am a retired art teacher from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. I have always loved reading and writing and indulge in a variety of reading styles. During my teaching career I incorporated many themes from story books into my art lessons. I have taken writing classes and was a certified reading specialist as well. Since retirement I have self published My first "Niyah Knows" story, Niyah Knows What To Do On A Boring Day.
I have always wanted to write childrens' books, not necessarily for profit, but to be able to share my thoughts and creativity with others who enjoy the art of writing and reading leisure.
