Nuclear energy accounts for approximately 20% of the United States electricity usage each year. Additionally, nuclear energy is produced with no pollutants or toxins to the environment, keeping our air and our environment clean unlike many other forms of energy plants. However, many are still uneducated about nuclear energy and therefore do not support it. This book aims to educate young children about the importance of nuclear energy and how it is a safe alternative to coal and gas plants in our environment.
