This is a collection of three books written by Sang M Lee: Gentle Wind on the Shore, A Friend is Someone who Likes you, and Trip to Japan. It is about his father's story in Harbin in 1930s and '40s, Sang's first love and friends, and the photo book of his trip to Japan he made in 2009. Story about his friends are mostly written in Korean.

Sang M Lee was born in Korea and moved to America in 1976. He retired as an electrical engineering college professor, currently living in Rio Rancho, New Mexico with his wife Lenore since 2014. He enjoys operating ham radio K7MOK, writing for KARL magazine and local newsletter "Voice of Wilderness, flying remote helicopters, and country music dancing.
