Out of the Darkness

This story takes place about 100 years into the future, and technology hasn't moved much. The basic new things that society has created are called familiar computers. They are helped to capture familiars.
Familiars, in this world, are necklaces, with a base and a gem in the inside, but when you touch the middle stone, your conscious takes you to a whole new world called the familiar world. Inside this world you get a familiar. They usually look like humans with unnatural traits. They could have animal traits, element traits and so much more.
The main character is Kara Aragon, and she hates familiars for her tragic past. Throughout the story, she slowly begins to realize that her destiny is to begin there, and to end there. for what will happen will change her life, and the life of everyone forever.
