Facing my inner demons with the weight of my past weighing me down, I find myself struggling to oversee tough situations. With a broken heart, a blind vision & a mind with thoughts on overload, it seemed overly impossible to change for the better. Learning to accept mistakes I`ve made motivated me enough to push forward & fight harder with good intensions and in the end I overcame what I never thought I could.

Hello there! I`m Yvette Aguilar, an upcoming poet. My writing is based on things I have been through in life. I am wanting to learn how to be able to publish my work. I`ve always liked using writing as a tool of expression. Over the years my poems have helped others get through their own struggles, heartaches or hard times. I`m certain my writing will be convincing enough for anyone to relate.
