This book documents Patrick Miceli's exhibition "Played Out" at the Koehnline Museum of Fine Art in June of 2022. The exhibition is the culmination of five years of exploring the image of sneakers in the form of painting, sculpture and installation.

Biography
A life long resident of Chicago Patrick Miceli became interested in art in high school and began taking classes at The School of the Art Institute (SAIC) in a program for high school students called The Young Artist Studio. After graduating high school he continued to study art at the University of Illinois, SAIC and Columbia college. Realizing the importance of real world experience he took an extended leave from school and returned later to get a BFA from the university of Illinois and an MFA from SAIC. During his time off from school he began teaching classes at Lill Street Art Center. Over the interviewing years he taught a variety of visual art classes at, The Hyde Park Art Center, The Evanston Art Center, Highland Park Art Center, Columbia College, and City Colleges.
He has exhibited work both locally and nationally and has work in the following collections, The new Museum of Contemporary Art, IBM and the Quincy Art Center. with work on permanent display in the Ke
