Poetic Rhetoric

Both Poetry and Rhetoric aren't the most favored among high school students in the classroom. The curriculum focusses on standardized testing with little to no components of creativity. Students are pressured into learning what "has" to be done rather than being encouraged to enjoy the material given. This book will help students analyze rhetorical devices and further their understanding of poetry while also increasing their ability to read more complicated texts and encouraging them to take a more creative approach to text analysis.
