About Author
I consider myself a man from the West. I grew up with bears and mountain lions in the tops of the Rocky Mountains of Montana and later with the antelope and rattlesnakes on the plains of Wyoming. My father instilled in us boys a love of fishing, hunting and the great outdoors.
A cowboy at heart even though much of my life was spent in large cities rather than rural areas.
I defended my country for twenty years and one day in the military both abroad and at home.
Now in the fall of my life, I enjoy writing poetry from many sources.
