Radio Free Olympia

When foundling Pet Bauer hikes into the Olympic Mountains to broadcast the spirits from his pirate radio station and hippie spiritualist Taya turns her deceased parents’ Olympic Peninsula cranberry farm into a women’s roadhouse, the stage is set for an infant kidnapping which brings the two together at the scene of a retribution killing and then a Pacific Rim apocalypse. Radio Free Olympia is a novel which not only develops a compelling narrative populated with captivating characters but also takes on the Joycean task of reconciling the natural and Christian worlds of words which seem at odds in the Northwest in specific and America in general.
