About the Book

"Rhythm In My Feet, Song In My Heart" is a collection of short simple songs and poems I wrote for our son. Each composition was easy to learn, fun to sing (or recite), and would personalize his daily activities. While singing and reciting the songs and rhymes, it was easy for our child to learn and establish routines. We were able to teach about environment and people he will interact with regularly.

The use of short stories, music, and songs has proven to be the most productive educational vehicles for our son during these formative years. They are helping to build his speech/language skills, increase pragmatic language, strengthen his confidence, and develop social skills. More importantly he thinks these songs are super fun! Not only am I creating a powerful learning tool, I am creating cherished childhood memories that will echo throughout his adult life. I hope you and your beloved enjoy these songs and poems as much as we have.
