Ruthann Lentz has spent her life asking, "how hard can it be?" growing up in rural Nova Scotia she skipped off to Art School and a life of trying it all. An artist all her life she has tried every medium, glass, stone, painting of all kinds including wall murals right down to being a Make Up Artist. While living in LA she continued a varied career in make up, decorating, writing, acting and stand up comedy. Life really started to get funny once her kids came into the picture and a "slower?" life in Portland Or challenged her whimsical side. Inspired by her children daily Scrap Monsters came to life one day while making a project creating stuffed Monsters out of old blankets and clothes. Typically for Ruthann the adventure had only just started.
