Marti and I started to plan a short trip to Seattle, WA. At first it was a trip for Marti to link up with two of her girl friends that time and distance had kept apart. I wanted to visit my brother-in-law Rick, his children, Jannette and Christian and of course Felicia. Then as we learned more about the area we wanted to visit beautiful Victoria, BC. Next we read about the gardens, islands, State Parks, Locks, and Ferry's we just had to visit everything. Soon our short trip became longer and longer. Our trip started July 4, 2013 and we returned home on July 22, 2013. We saw everything we planned to see and we saw much more. We went to a Theater presentation of Chicago, visited a Troll that lives under a bridge and spent time with the one and only Dobbye the Capybara. I saw the wonders of Woodinville, WA and spoke with Queen Victoria both in her garden and in the parlement building. The northwest was more than Marti and I expected. Should you feel the urge please go northwest.

I live in Aptos, California with my love Marti. She and I have four children and at this time six grandchildren. We also have one great grandchild and one on the way. I have been retired for three full years and want Marti to retire soon.
I want to create something that will remain after I pass on. I hope that should any of my decedents like to know more about their ancestries they might find a little something about me and my lovely Marti on the World Wide Web. This is my second attempt at a book and I hope it is better than the first (Kauai, Hawaii - My First Time by Papa John).
