Anxious, silent, and unbelievably talented, Adam wouldn't be caught dead without his sketchbook. Always walking about the streets of his hometown, Haven, alone with his throughts and creations. He is mostly alone, because his creations aren't only impressive, but wary to look at. All Adam draws are greusome monsters, barren landscapes, and mysterious creatures that he not only percieves in his imagination, but that he sees each and every day, as he feels he's always done.
After a long day, full of rather unusual events, he finds himself in a world that seems of his own creation, known as Underside. Underside, which seems vaguely familliar to him, is a world puppeteered by the evil Lucian. Adam, who barely knows which way to turn in this new place, is told that he has come back to Underside after disappearing for a few years, and is to fight Lucian to bring light and hope back to Underside.
Adam, who can barely help himself, is now fated to bring a new future to this fateless land.
