Problems encountered in the field of education especially in the area of implementing the curriculum are no longer new to teachers. Like any other learning program, Science suffers the same dilemma. To quote, it is even said that it is almost impossible to achieve the desired goals and objectives set by the curriculum because the problems already arise at the implementation level. Most of the notable issues Science teachers meet are considerably: insufficient school resources; irregular monitoring and supervision; too many competencies to cover; shortage of qualified Science teachers; large class sizes; and students’ insufficient prior knowledge. All of these either make or break the curriculum, determining its success or failure. It’s not the curriculum that is bad, perhaps we are looking at not “the” problem that it becomes a misdiagnosis. Perhaps what we need is an organ system that will support the curriculum itself.
