This K1 class in San Diego, Califonia loves to discover more about our use of language. These children enjoy finding the humor in their learning and in language. The class chose to create a book to inspire others to learn memorization strategies and take on the challenges involved in becoming adept at using the english language, all while having fun!

Our K-1 class, from Innovations Academy Charter School, is passionate about their connection to nature, community, reading and writing, art, science, telling time, using money and learning new facts! They are a group of students who love to discuss topics and who also care deeply for their peers, in both thought and action.
