The Red Head in Miami

Maisie, a girl from Kansas that has anorexia, moves to Miami to go to a really big school. This school had all of the rich kids, which she was not. She felt like a outcast. She felt ugly. She was shy after trying to be friends with the "popular" one. The "popular" one was Megan. Megan was rude and determined to make everyone hate Maisie. Maisie tried and tried to ignore all the hate but finally it got to her. Everyone was yelling at her that she was "Really fat," and that " Her mom should have died because she was such a drug addict and a criminal," and so much more cruel things. She starting cutting herself. She made a friend the day after she started cutting. Her new friend's name was Kristy. Maisie one day told Kristy what she had been doing. Kristy was not happy about it , so she gave Maisie other ideas of how to help her sadness without cutting. One of those ideas leads to a life of fame for Maisie.
