David Meek is the author of the children's book inspired by his granddaughter Scarlett. David has been an educator for over 30 years, teaching at all levels from Kindergarten to University. His assignments have included teaching special education in Orange County, where he currently resides.
Scarlett, the main character of the book, has always had an adventurous imagination, often dressing up in princess dresses and dreaming up magical worlds. David has incorporated real people from Scarlett's life into the series, including her dog Jayda.
In addition to his work as an educator, David also serves as an officer with the United States Army. He holds three Master's Degrees in education and is dedicated to helping children reach their full potential. His passion for teaching and love for his family have inspired him to write this heartwarming children's book that celebrates the power of family, love, and forgiveness.
