An autobiography by a 90-year-old woman whose childhood was spent in the village of Freeville, New York during the Great Depression. The author's account of family life provides insights into pastimes, routines, friendships, joys, challenges and loss during the 1930s and 1940s. In 1948, she moved with her husband to Titusville, Pennsylvania where they raised four children and have participated fully in the life of the community, their church, and the world beyond their borders.

Mother of four children, fifteen grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. Executive Director of Titusville PA YWCA, 1967-1989. Member of Titusville United Methodist Church, Titusville Area Garden Club, and a Wednesday bridge club.
