Jacob is a 16 year old wolf when winter comes he turns into a human and blends in. One of his family's rules is "you may never fall in love with a human, if you do we will kill her." He forgets all about that rule and he falls in love with Emily. While Jacob his sick and stays home from school his parents takes Emily from school, and Jacob finds out the first thing he sayed was "The war has begun."
