Soon out of a violent relationship DC Lucy Kemp turns to the comfort of her good friend sergeant Neil Smith (Smithy). Being in her emotional state, Lucy doesn’t even think about a new relationship, until her emotional vibes start towards Smithy. Both Smithy and Lucy can feel an attraction, but neither are ready to admit that to one another. Their emotional situation gets thrown in at the deep end when both Lucy and Smithy are put undercover in with drug and weapon criminals, posing as boyfriend and girlfriend. This thrusts the two together which then causes conflict when an unexpected twist portrays their future together.
