About the Book

We (Bekah and Sariah) met several years ago in school. Fast forward five years where we met again. It was platonic love at first sight and we have been friends ever since. Immediately we commiserated, we love adventure and spontaneity so we started scheming. Deciding to do Walk for Love came about organically through our friendship. Come along with us on this adventure. We are excited to get to know you . We want all the support we can get on our Walk for Love.

Sariah is 30 years old, single and a working professional. She has been working as an ASL interpreter for the past decade. She is an outdoor enthusiast and a world traveler.

She loves her family; has a lot of great friends and has an unquenchable thirst for adventure. In the past 10 years she has backpacked Europe, taught English in China, served a mission for her church, trained teachers in Ghana, biked 80 miles, kayaked with whales in Alaska, hiked the Grand Canyon and completed her first triathlon.

Despite all of her accomplishments, her life has been a constant struggle and, as it is for anyone, a ride through low valleys and high peaks. She believes that she can have a lasting impact on the world as she shares her love and light with those she meets on her journey.

Bekah graduated with her masters in social work in 2010 after which she worked for Child protective services for two years. She currently works as an independently contracted American Sign Language interpreter.

She has the gift of meeting people and knowing who they are and their infinite value in an instant.

Through her Walk for Love she hopes to connect with people. She believe no one can ever experience too much love, so she plans on spreading love, and inspiring others to do the same.
