This children's story was written over 10 years ago. It's about an albino beaver named Weaver. Although he looks different than everyone else on the outside, his heart is just the same. The story tells of Weaver's adventures with ripples of strength, courage, jealously, pride, disappointment, friendship & above all the power of love. My Dad was so proud of his brother when he shared that he had written this story with the hopes of someday having it published. It was something we talked about during a visit to Michigan in November 2015 & I told him I would accept the honor of making this happen. I was fortunate enough to have a patient on my caseload, Emily Milbrath, accept the challenge of taking on the illustrations using Uncle Clarence's page by page guidelines as to what he wanted. He would always ask for periodic updates and was thrilled with the few illustrations he saw along the way. His legacy will live on with this keepsake & all of the beautiful memories we hold close.
