My name right now is Jaqueline Juanita Martinez Smith. I use the pseudonym, Celine van Rensburg as it is a combination of my and my mother's names (Cecilia and Jaqueline). Van Rensburg is
my maiden surname.
My grandmother was a writer and passed the love for it on through her genes. I have loved writing ever since I was a young child and was fascinated by the fairy tales my mother and father told at night as I was dropping off to sleep.
I am a published journalist in a small part of the business world, having studied Journalism and PR at CPUT, South Africa.
