About the Book
Yaya has different meanings depending on who is using it. I use it as a nickname for grandmother. This book was written as a dedication to my first grandchild, Bryson Jaire Smalls. I am his Yaya!

About Author
Sidnitra Christine Bates is a multi-creative with writing as her prominent gift. She is the author of several poetry books. Her most recent book, Journey in the Mosaic: Haiku Poetry Selections, has inspired many. An apparel line was created as the result of the book's success.
Ms. Bates is the mother of two amazing princes, B. Kevin Smalls, Jr. and Zion C. Lawson. She is also the very proud yaya (grandmother) of Bryson Jaire Smalls.
Sidnitra is a virtual member of Today's Church Tampa Bay and a licensed minister serving in the Church of the Everlasting Kingdom (COTEK).
Ms. Bates enjoys singing, traveling and running her business (Shalom Creative Boutique) and her non-profit (A2theThird, Inc.)
